In August 2019, VJ Suave was invited to participate in São Paulo’s “Jornada do Patrimônio” (Heritage Journey), an annual city-wide event dedicated to celebrating and preserving the metropolis’s historical memory. For this special occasion, the duo prepared a unique trajectory through the city’s historic center, bringing their signature Suaveciclo to engage directly with São Paulo’s architectural past.
This cultural heritage projection tour transformed the streets into an open-air, moving museum. As the tricycle navigated along the carefully planned route, its high-powered projectors illuminated historic facades and public squares with poetic animations and digital art. By blending modern new media with classical architecture, VJ Suave created a dynamic tribute to the city’s history, inviting the public to rediscover, walk alongside, and reconnect with their urban heritage in a completely new light.
