Hacktown – Suaveciclo – Santa Rita do Sapucaí, MG (2025)

In 2025, VJ Suave took their art to Santa Rita do Sapucaí, in the south of Minas Gerais, to participate in HackTown, one of the most important festivals of innovation and creativity in Latin America. Known as the “Electronics Valley,” the city transformed into a living laboratory where technology met small-town hospitality.

Amidst more than 800 simultaneous activities, the duo’s intervention stood out by bringing digital poetry to the streets. Using the Suaveciclo, they projected animations onto the facades of historic houses, university buildings, and the town’s squares. The performance created a visual bridge between the high-tech themes of the festival and the organic, welcoming architecture of Santa Rita, engaging an audience of entrepreneurs, creators, and locals in a shared moment of wonder.
