In 2021, VJ Suave took their luminous art to the streets of the French capital to participate in MAPP Paris, an extension of the renowned international projection mapping festival. Sailing on the famous traditional boat, the duo created a moving spectacle of light and color, interacting playfully with the city’s classic Parisian architecture and the vibrant local public who gathered for the event.
This interactive urban video mapping performance allowed audiences to step outside traditional gallery walls and literally follow the artwork through the Parisian streets. By seamlessly combining digital street art with mobile projection technology, VJ Suave transformed everyday urban landscapes into an ephemeral canvas for poetic animations. The performance created a memorable night of shared wonder, community engagement, and technological innovation in the heart of Paris.
