In August 2017, VJ Suave took the Suaveciclo to Northern Europe, participating in the Linnafestival UIT (Urban Festival UIT) in Tartu, Estonia. This interdisciplinary festival is dedicated to discovering and reclaiming urban spaces, inviting locals to experience their city from fresh perspectives.
The duo’s performance functioned as a guided night tour, where the audiovisual tricycle led a procession of spectators through Tartu’s streets. Projecting onto the city’s diverse architecture—from historic buildings to industrial structures—the intervention highlighted the festival’s mission of “parasitic” urbanism, using light and animation to temporarily inhabit and transform the public space, turning a standard walk into a collective journey of imagination.
